Pictures/what's new/Pink

I have not posted a picture in a very long time! Maybe next post!

I have completed my first whole week of working out (oh ya, I joined a gym) and I feel like a million yen! I hurt in places that I forgot I had!

I've recently became a fan of PINK, Not the color, the singer. She has some songs that kick about as much butt as a female can kick. She's no Joan Jet, but she is pretty good.

Anyone want to babysit my kids for a night, I'd like to go out with their mom and have some un-responsible fun!!!

WOW that was Fun!

I went with the guys I work with to the Gym tonight and for the first time in a long time I worked out. I'm pretty sure that I'll be sore as hell in the morning! I sure hope I'll be able to button my shirt. I forgot how much fun working out was!

I'm Sore!

Old age is catching up with me. I took the kids out on the Ice behind our house yesterday and played some hockey with the neighbors. I'm paying for it today! My body is sore and hurting in places that I forgot I had. I have realized that I am addicted to the show Intervention on Bravo (Sunday's at 10:00) For some odd reason it is very entertaining to see how messed-up and out of control some people are. The show basically shows how addictions affect people and can ruin thier life and the people around them. In the end the people profiled are set up for an intervention with the people who care about them and then set off to rehab. Check it out, it's very interesting.

Ice Ice Baby

Well, after a long and warm start to winter we finally have had enough below freezing weather to allow for ice fishing. My buddy Chris and I went out tonight and checked the Ice behind Diane's parents house and it looks good, about 3 1/2". Were planning on fishing Friday afternoon and into the night. I'm planning on catching the 2 1/2' pike that smiled at me last summer. Wish me luck!

Wow What a weekend.

Long time no blog! This past weekend was very eventful. Friday night Diane and I got out all of our X-mas stuff and took a walk down memory lane. We were looking at old pictures we had come across.

Saturday morning I came down stairs and while I was making a pot of coffee, Lauren came running upstairs and said, "Daddy, you might want to go in the basement" Now, this was at 9:30 or so and the kids had been running around the house since 8am, so they had at least an hour or more of unsupervised play time. During the hour and a half, Ryan had came upstairs and put on his bathing suite, no big deal right, I mean hey if he wants to wear his bathing suite in December, I'm not going to say no. Alright, I finally went down stairs and found out why Ryan wanted his bathing suite on. He was making a swimming pool in my little bar area of our basement. The boy was sitting on the counter spraying water onto the laminate floor. It was approximately a 1/2" deep and took about 15 towels to clean it up. He had so much water on the floor that it started to seep into our storage room. Funny at the moment, NO, Funny now, YES!

Later that day we went bowling to Brighton Bowl and celebrated my 33rd birthday. John and Julie, Paul and Heather, Dennis and holly, and Dana and Eli came out. After bowling we went to memories and then Lou & Carl's. I had a great time, thanks to all for making my birthday extra special. Damn I feel old now!

Thanksgiving Feast

Today I went to Lauren's school for a Thanksgiving feast. All of the children were dressed up as Indians and pilgrims and they were holding their homemade turkeys. They gave each child a plate of all the traditional thanksgiving food and a piece of pumpkin pie for desert. It was really a lot of fun and I'm glad I have the freedom with my job to attend some of these events. It was great to see how proud Lauren was of her crazy looking turkey.

After dinner Lauren, Ryan and I played a blues Clue's game and then I put Lauren to bed. As I was about to read a story to Lauren, she decided that she would rather look at the Target Toy magazine. As we looked thru the magazine Lauren said, "I Want That" and pointed at almost every toy in the magazine. Ryan came in halfway thru this and joined his sister in saying, "I Want That". It reminded me of when I was a kid, I'd flip thru the Sears, or whatever real catalog we had and dog ear all of the pages with things that I wanted.

We have a new pet TURKEY!

Tonight while Diane was working, I helped laruen make a turkey for school. All the kids have to make a turkey out of things around the house. The body was is an empty laundry detergent and we just happened to have googly eyes and feathers laying aroung (yah right). It's actually kind of creepy looking.

Last night Diane and I went out to the Wings game with a customer of mine and we ran into Joey Kocure at Chris Chelios's bar. After the game we hooked up with Diane's dad and Eli who were also at the game. Oh yah, the wings won.

Thank you Dana for watching our kids, your awesome!

Earlier today I took Lauren and Ryan to a neighbors birthday party at this place called Cast-A-Way Cafe. It's a huge place with a very large jungle gym type of thing. The kids loved it! After that we came home for Pizza and baths, and then movie/turkey night. We watched CARS while we made Laurens beautiful but creepy turkey.

Check out my meatballs (aka Armadillo Eggs)

I made these a while ago, I just found the picture and it made me humgy.

Well, after work today I went out and blew all my leaves into the woods and cut the lawn (shorter than normal so the leaves blow into the neighbors yard.) I then started to winterize my house (put shit away and get shovels and snow blower out.) Michigan SUCKS!

I have taken a shower, played a game of madden and now I'm talking to my brother while I Blog. Blog, blog, blog.

Oh ya I'm enjoying a Wiser and water.

Go Tigers.

Check out my meatballs!

This is not your father's Buick!

BullS_ _ T, my Buick looks just like my dads. I never actually thought I would own a Buick and now look at me. Diane and I sold the Big Rig on Tuesday and bought a used Rendezvous. It's the first care I have owned that I can't spell.

Fantasy Football

Well, once again it's that great time of year when real men get to display their football knowledge and powers by playing an imaginary game. So far this year I am 2-2, 3-0-1, and 1-3 in my 3 leauges. The first leauge is the only one that really matters since it's a pay leauge and since I just opened a can up on ELI this past weekend.

Oh ya and for the record, I am 1 and 0 against him in Madden 2007! Damn it feels good to be a gangstar!

Diane is starting her own business and I will soon be Mr. Mom! For those who don't know, she is going to start selling house wears and other type things from http://www.signaturehomestyles.com. Check out the web site and if you want anything at all just call Diane, If you don't want anything then send an unmarked envelope with 5 or 10 bucks in it to our house.

The kids and I are very proud of you Diane!

Tigers Game

Last night Diane and I took the family to it's very first "family Tiger game"

Lauren and Ryan had fun wiping the water off of our chairs, If college falls thru, they could definatly be ushers!

Grandma and Grandpa stopped by to say hello during the rain delay!

All in all, I think Lauren and Ryan had a great time, even if we did head home after only 1/3 innings.

Long Time No Blog

We'll not a whole lot has been going on over the past 2 months. Both kids have started school and momma is now running around like a wild woman. I have been extremly busy with work and just got a new laptop so that I can do work form anywhere and at anytime of the day.

I played paintball for the first time last Sunday and had a blast. I felt like a little kid playing army in the street with my friends. I'll admit I was a little nervous about getting hit with a 200mph paintball. I only got hit once in the back and to tell you the truth it just stung a little.

Go Tigers!

Melon Fest

What an Ass!

What a weekend. Friday my nice brother in law Eli and I played poker online till about 2:30am. Saturday Diane and I hung out with Dana and Eli, we went to eat at the outback and then played cards at our house. Sunday we went to the Howell Melon fest with Dana and Eli and the kids and then back to our house for some dinner, drinks and Madden.

If your wandering who's ass that is, it's Eli's. The funny thing about this picture is all the irony. First of all check out the size of the ass. Now look at the shirt he is wearing, it says something about exercise, Eli is not exactly the poster child for exercise. Finally check out the Diet Coke can, kind of ironic considering the size of the ass don't you think. (note: wide angle lens was used for above shot)

I would love to show you the picture I have of Dana, however, due to the small bit of decency that I do have, I will not do that. However, I will say that we had a good time at the MELON fest.

Just Another Friday Night!

After a horrible dinner (see blog below) Diane and I gave the kids a bath and put them to bed. Then we sat on the couch and I watched the Tigers loose while Diane lost at poker. Sometimes I feel bad that I can wake up each day after day and feel exactly the same as I did the day before. Poor Diane, She has been feeling like poop lately and not even her doctor knows why. Personally, I think it's lack of sex, however, she disagrees. Anyway, her doctor seams to think that Diane needs to get a message to help her with her headaches! What the hell kind of diagnosis is that. Let me see, I'll pay you $10 and you tell me I need a message. What! I offered my services to Diane and she insisted that she needs a professional. I try daily and still can not understand women, especially women with a PHD.

New York Strip

I was at Costco yesterday and bought some NY strip steaks that looked damn good. I had such high hopes for grilling them and making a dinner to remember. I searched the Weber Grill home page for their recommendations and then set out to grill like the master that I am. The web site said to sear the steaks on high for 6 minutes and them use indirect medium heat for the next 6 minutes. Whoa, let's back up for a minute, have any of you ever grilled on a Weber? This is my first Weber and I can tell you that I am completely confused as to how to cook on this damn thing. You see, it heats up way hotter than any other grill I have ever used. Anyway, back to the steaks, I put them on at 5:48pm and left the lid closed till 5:54:pm, 6 minutes. When I opened the lid I about fell over, both steaks were surrounded in flames and had a nice burnt color. I was pissed!!!
After some encouraging words from my darling wife, I decided to hell with it, I'm eating them anyway. Truth be told, they were still edible, just a little crispy. I have since thrown out the cook book that came with the grill and will never look to the web site again and I will lift the lid as damn often as I please, screw Weber.
