Detroit Grand Prix

Well, We went downtown yesterday for the Grand Prix and I have to say this. Other than the fat guy with no shirt and his Joe Boxer breifs riding way lower than they ever should, It was really a great time. Belle Isle looked great and the view of downtown was pretty cool.

For all of you who like cover tunes, I highly reccommend picking up the new TESLA album REEL TO REEL. It is a great collection of tunes from the 60's and 70's. Tesla will be at DTE on July 18th if anyone is interested, they put on a great show, I've seen them about 8 times over the past 10 years.

Golf!

I have no idea how I've done it but I have now shot the best 2 scores of my life back to back in my golf leauge. 40 & 41!!!! For some odd reason I am playing the best golf of my life this year.

I have completed my first whole week of working out (oh ya, I joined a gym) and I feel like a million yen! I hurt in places that I forgot I had!

I've recently became a fan of PINK, Not the color, the singer. She has some songs that kick about as much butt as a female can kick. She's no Joan Jet, but she is pretty good.

Anyone want to babysit my kids for a night, I'd like to go out with their mom and have some un-responsible fun!!!

WOW that was Fun!

I went with the guys I work with to the Gym tonight and for the first time in a long time I worked out. I'm pretty sure that I'll be sore as hell in the morning! I sure hope I'll be able to button my shirt. I forgot how much fun working out was!

I'm Sore!

Old age is catching up with me. I took the kids out on the Ice behind our house yesterday and played some hockey with the neighbors. I'm paying for it today! My body is sore and hurting in places that I forgot I had. I have realized that I am addicted to the show Intervention on Bravo (Sunday's at 10:00) For some odd reason it is very entertaining to see how messed-up and out of control some people are. The show basically shows how addictions affect people and can ruin thier life and the people around them. In the end the people profiled are set up for an intervention with the people who care about them and then set off to rehab. Check it out, it's very interesting.

Ice Ice Baby

Well, after a long and warm start to winter we finally have had enough below freezing weather to allow for ice fishing. My buddy Chris and I went out tonight and checked the Ice behind Diane's parents house and it looks good, about 3 1/2". Were planning on fishing Friday afternoon and into the night. I'm planning on catching the 2 1/2' pike that smiled at me last summer. Wish me luck!
